Papillon Posters

From the Chrysalis comes the Butterfly (Papillon) to dry its wings and take flight. Early in Jan’s art career, she printed three images of her paintings: Delicate Arch in the Snow, As the Pueblo Wakes, and Moonrise over Walpi.  Now these are available in poster form and therefore less expensive. The Kiva Ladder poster announced her ‘Windows ~ Watercolors by Jan Wright’ Exhibit at Edge of the Cedars Museum in Blanding, Utah in ’95. ‘Coyote Tosses the Stars’ is a small, colorful poster sold at her exhibit ‘Sky in Motion ~ Etched in Stone (artistic expressions of archaeoastronomy)’ which toured Utah in ’99 and ’00.

Signed posters vary in price as to how they are ordered.

Option 1:
If a poster is rolled in a tube, it costs $22, plus shipping and handling.
Option 2: If a poster is shrink-wrapped on foam core backing, total cost is $40 per poster.

Please contact Jan Wright through her email or phone 970-882-3130 to order. Wholesale pricing available.

Legend:

At the time of Creation, Creator, the Grandmothers, and Grandfathers

Were placing the Stars carefully into the Sky.

One day, Coyote came along, grabbed the bag of Stars,

And danced and sang as he threw them into the sky with great joy and abandon!

As he was just about to get caught, he threw the rest of the bag into the Sky,

And that is why we have the Milky Way today!

Costs $22, plus shipping and handling.
